The work

I write about systems that carry real consequences: insurance markets, operational software, product decisions, and the cultural machinery that determines how new tools are actually used.

My bias is toward the operator’s view. A strategy becomes interesting when it survives a queue, a deadline, an exception, and a person who needs to explain what happened.

This site is a place for durable arguments, working notes, and useful distinctions—not a feed optimized for constant production.
